Funtopia launches campaign “Something for the Children” to treat 1,000 students

It is the season of giving, and all roads lead to the premiere of the first theatrical production of Funtopia. “Something for the Children” with Funtopia & friends will premiere at the Sports Auditorium on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 6:30pm. On Sunday, February 3, the public can also come out and see the second day showings for the Matinee Show at 3:00pm and the Evening Show at 7:30pm.

Funtopia is giving 1,000 students from both the French and the Dutch side of the island, free tickets to see the production. Selective students from each school will be given a ticket to see any of the three shows. This promotion is only for children under the age of 11. They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Funtopia has reached out to a number of partner schools they have been working with over the years to make the presentation to the management of the schools. Any institution that has not been contacted as yet is encouraged to contact with Funtopia.

The general public is encouraged to purchase their “early bird” tickets during the month of December for US $10 per person. In January, advance ticket sales will be $15 per person and $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased on both sides of the island at Van Dorp Edine in Madame Estate and Simpson Bay, Good Cards in Simpson Bay, Interline Shipping in Point Blanche. And on the French side of the island at SOS Radio station in Marigot and Association Foundation for Hope in Saint James and Chat Perché SXM in Hope Estate.
