Volunteers of Bishop Ellis Foundation for the needy gathered at IZI Restaurant for their annual Christmas dinner on Thursday. The volunteers reflected on their experiences and the joy of helping clients of the foundation, which provides food and support for persons in need.
The foundation, which is marking its 15th year in existence this year, supports about 250 persons with food and basic supplies. On hand for the celebration was Bishop of Willemstad Luis Secco, who thanked the volunteers for their support of the needy, their consistency and charitable work they provide for the island.
