Members of Parliament working in pairs handed out dozens of food baskets on Thursday in anticipation of the holiday season.
They delivered them to families in Sucker Garden, Middle Region, Belvedere, Dutch Quarter, South Reward, St. Peters, Cay Bay, Philipsburg, and Simpson Bay. The various community councils had each previously nominated three families who could use some extra cheer this Christmas.
