In honour of the late Queen Elizabeth II officers of the Royal Anguilla Police Force, on Friday September 9, fired a 96 gun salute in the grounds of the Governor Dileeni Daniel Selvaratnam and in the presence of members of the House of Assembly and other officials. In addition flags are being flown at half-mast on all government buildings until after the funeral.
The Governor will make a Proclamation of the new Sovereign on Sunday September 11.
