Integrity Committee meeting postponed

PHILIPSBURG--Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee on Integrity did not meet today as planned due to issues with the agenda set up.

The agenda was announced as a discussion on the Danish Code of Conduct for research integrity and the codes of conduct in national parliaments, in particular transparency. However, the actual agenda point was to be supporting documents for the discussion on the code of conduct for Parliament.

Due to the discussion on the code of conduct dating back to the previous legislature, Parliament Chairwoman Sarah Wescot-Williams opted to postponed the meeting to give all committee members, in particular first term Members of Parliament time to review all documents as well as the draft code of conduct.

The ad hoc committee meeting will be reconvened on a future date.
