PHILIPSBURG--Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport (ECYS) Rodolphe Samuel addressed the country during the Council of Ministers press briefing on Wednesday, thanking his supporters.
In his opening remarks, the minister expressed his gratitude to his supporters, family and friends for their support. Samuel also shared his gratitude to the leader of National Alliance (NA), his campaign team and Member of Parliament William Marlin.
He thanked the coalition and said, “Yes, we have a coalition and because of the coalition we can stand together to fight for the people of St. Maarten.”
The minister pledged his continued support and energy to the tasks within the Ministry of ECYS for the people of St. Maarten. “I will be here to do what I have to do,” he said.
The minister in his closing remarks added that any activities noticed at schools on St. Maarten are due to teachers making use of the schools to make necessary contact with their students.
