PHILIPSBURG--The Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour VSA has released contact numbers for General Practitioners to facilitate contact between patients and physicians in light of the request of self-quarantine (persons with no symptoms) and self-isolation (persons with symptoms).
“The following Health Care Providers numbers and email address are circulated to assist their patients to get hold of their general practitioner/house doctor. It is the aim to decrease the number of telephone calls to the Emergency Room,” said the ministry on Tuesday.
Persons are urged to use the provided contact information to contact their family physician/house doctor only.

The ministry reminds persons that if your doctor’s line is busy to kindly keep on trying. “Follow your Social and Health Insurance SZV registration, your doctor knows your medical history better than many others. Don’t delay in calling your physician,” according to the release.
