A group of women recently came together to celebrate motherhood and put some money to charity. The fun-filled event held in Melange Restaurant was organized for the eight year by Harsha Shivlani. This year’s theme was “Rock n Roll” and saw the attendance of Parliament Chairwoman Sarah Wescot-Williams and Ombudsman Nilda Arduin among others.
The funds raised at the Mother’s Day event, together with that from main sponsor Indian Merchants Association (IMA) along with other businesses and individuals, was used to treat the children of St. Martin Pony League. A donation of items will also be made available to Sister Basilia Centre by Shivlani and group, which includes Jharna Dayalani, Komal Shivlani, Neetu Narwani, Pushpa Rawtani, Hanisha Alwani, Anita Amarnaney, Ajita Wadhwani, Simran Jagger, Nishita Alwani and Mansi Kapoor.
