JetBlue made its inaugural flight on a new route from Newark, New Jersey, to St. Maarten on Saturday.
On hand to welcome the flight were representatives of St. Maarten Tourist Bureau (STB), who gave promotional tokens to arriving passengers. JetBlue currently operates six flights per week to St. Maarten from four cities in the United States (US).
