A new large supermarket has opened its doors to eager shoppers in St. Maarten. Called "Cost Pro," the new business opened on Thursday morning in the former Fresh Market location in Madame Estate.
Early birders shared via social media in particular that the shelves were fully stocked, although there was a bit of a wait at the cash register as all items were not yet fully inputted into the system. The opening of this supermarket coincides with the forced closure of Carrefour Market due to a fire early Thursday morning. (John Halley photos)
