A truck overloaded with dirt spilled its excess on Welfare Road, primarily at the entrance to Billy Folly Road, on Friday afternoon. The rocky debris was a hazard to drivers and caused a severe traffic jam in the area. This is one of the latest examples of overloaded trucks or trucks without a secure cover for their load taking to the street. One observer remarked that the situation could have been worse had the debris fallen on a vehicle in the vicinity at the time of the spill.
