An EZ Air flight with passengers from St. Eustatius and Saba on board touched down at Statia’s F.D. Roosevelt Airport on Tuesday, May 12.
The passengers were Health Insurance Office ZVK patients returning from medical referrals. The Statia passengers were expected to go into quarantine. The passengers from Saba returned home onboard the Medivac helicopter on Tuesday evening. The helicopter also brought passengers from Saba to Statia who were travelling for medical referral to Curaçao. Medical, cargo and emergency flights are the only flights allowed to touch down at Statia’s airport during the travel ban.
