Plastic bags out

Carrefour Markets have done away with plastic shopping bags. From now on, persons shopping at these supermarkets will only receive paper bags to carry their groceries. Carrefour joins several other supermarkets in St. Maarten that have dispensed with plastic and have focused on more environmentally-friendly alternatives.
