Police seeking public’s help to find  suspect who chopped man in Aug.

 

 PHILIPSBURG--The Police Force is turning to the public for assistance in locating a suspect who chopped up a man in “Down Street”, Philipsburg, on Sunday, August 9.

  Referring to the incident as a “serious assault,” the police said in a press release that on the evening in question officers found the man S.B.O. on the ground suffering from severe lacerations to his back and torso. The only information police have received to date is that the victim was attacked by a machete-wielding man. The victim has had two surgeries over the last few weeks, but is still suffering from the injuries he sustained during the August attack.

  The Detective Department urges eyewitnesses to come forward and assist in solving this crime.
