SYNOPSIS:

Moisture and instability associated with a weak low-level trough will account for an increase in cloudiness and shower activity across the local area today. Thereafter, a drier atmosphere will restrict precipitation.

Long period northeasterly swells are expected to deteriorate marine conditions from tonight. These swells will generate rough seas conditions across regional waters. As a result, a high surf advisory will be warranted later today. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
