SYNOPSIS: 
The Atlantic high pressure ridge is the dominant feature producing brisk easterly winds. A moisture surge, associated with a tropical wave, is expected to produce cloudy skies along with isolated showers today. However, the heaviest shower activity expected to stay south of the local area.
Increasing wind speeds throughout the weekend will lead to strong wave action particularly on Sunday, any necessary warnings or advisories will be issued at the appropriate time. Seas are currently slight to moderate peaking near 6 feet.
