GRAND CASE--Spiga restaurant in Grand Case has claimed yet another certificate from travel review site Trip Advisor.
The fine-dining Italian restaurant recently qualified for Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame, an honour that comes after acquiring Certificates of Excellence for the past five consecutive years. The certificate is awarded based on positive reviews generated independently by Trip Advisor users.
Spiga of Chef Ciro Russo and Lara Russo-Bergamasco is one of a handful of restaurants open since the passing of monster Hurricane Irma in the once-bustling Grand Case Village restaurant strip.
“We are really thriving despite the difficult situation in Grand Case,” said Russo-Bergamasco.
She said her husband; the chef credits their success of the restaurant to great teamwork in the restaurant that opened in 2002.
