This afternoon through Monday midday: Fair to partly cloudy, hazy and breezy with a brief passing shower possible.

SURFACE WINDS: 
This afternoon through Monday midday: Easterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 08 to 16 mph and higher gusts possible.


SYNOPSIS:  

The Atlantic high-pressure system will maintain brisk easterly winds across the region. Pockets of moisture embedded in the wind flow may cause brief passing showers from time to time. 

A small craft advisory remains in effect for St. Maarten due to above-normal seas and gusty winds. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. 

 

STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate to Rough           WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
