It is the season of giving and this nine-year-old wanted to make a difference. Instead of receiving this year, Sahara Acuna-Lopez -Sankies decided that she wants to give with the help of Freegan food cafe and put smiles on 29 children’s faces.
With her own funds and help from several persons donating to her cause, she filled 29 bags with art supplies and toys. Special thanks go out to Millicent de Weever, Kevin “Suppa Kid” Petrona, Suelaica Brown-Sprott, Sharalee Lint-Beudeker and Micheline Warner.
