PHILIPSBURG--Social and Health Insurances SZV recently finalised the care contract signing for lab services with St. Maarten Laboratory Services (SLS) and Health Care Laboratory St. Maarten (HCLS). The care contract between SZV and the two laboratories expands and ensures the continuity of laboratory services to entitled clients of primary insurers ZV, OZR and FZOG.
“SLS NV is happy to announce the signing of the service level agreement with SZV for the period 2018-2020. The signing took place on Monday, May 21, at the offices of SZV. SLS said it is proud to be a partner in health and to be able to provide laboratory health care services to SZV clients and the public,”SLS Director Dr. Nasser Ajubi said,
“This collaboration will help guarantee continuity of laboratory care by SLS NV as we are committed to provide quality laboratory services to the public using the latest techniques and with a well-trained staff.”
To make use of laboratory services, SZV-insured clients must present a lab request form issued by a general practitioner or specialist, a valid SZV insurance card and a valid form of identification. SZV clients are reminded to be sure to have a valid insurance card at all times. Appointments for insurance application and renewals can be requested online via

“The care contract signing with HCLS took place on Monday, May 28. HCLS is a private medical laboratory offering medical laboratory services on St. Maarten,” HCLS said in a press release, adding that it is committed to a positive contribution in the healthcare sector and to the general population.
