The St. Martin Tourist Office with the support of the Collectivité, the St. Martin Chamber of Commerce CCISM and the European Union (EU) launched the campaign to help professionals in the hotel, restaurant and leisure industry who are experiencing serious difficulties without the normal influx of vacationing tourists.

The campaign runs from July 1 to August 3. Residents of the island have an opportunity to discover or rediscover these establishments and support the local economy through use of vouchers to be redeemed for the establishment or activity of their choice. The Collectivité has set aside 500,000 euros to finance this campaign.

For hotels, a promotional coupon worth 100 euros per person will be offered for a minimum two-night stay. Each hotel will determine its own conditions. For restaurants and activities, a voucher worth 30 euros will be offered. Ten euros off will be offered on a 30-euro minimum purchase in shops.

The Tourist Office is calling on interested restaurants, hotels and leisure-activity operators to contact them by sending an email to
