TPI tackles bullying in new 2-part course

SIMPSON BAY--Training Professionals International (TPI) Firm has added a new two-part course, Awareness of Corporate or Workplace Bullying – Part I, and Prevention of Corporate or Workplace Bullying – Part II, to its suite of certified accredited programmes.

The full course is completed in six hours and will include sections on knowing how to recognise the behaviours and tactics, the different types of bullies, the effects on the individual and organisation and ways to ensure that bullying is handled effectively with the least or minimal damage.

“This infestation of bullying in the workplace is widespread,” stressed TPI President and Chief Executive Officer Natasha Gittens. The aim of the course is not only to heighten the awareness of these bad practices, but help to eradicate behaviour that threatens the corporate culture. Zero tolerance must be the consensus of all, according to Gittens.

A few companies have already seized the opportunities to sign up with TPI to offer this course for their employees in the coming weeks. “The team at TPI believes that this matter of solving corporate bully in the workplace should be taken very seriously and they were happy to respond to the need for a course of this nature and have taken all strides to make the course on Corporate or Workplace bullying available for businesses around the region now,” she said.
