SABA--The preparations for the 43rd annual Saba Day celebrations are underway, Commissioner of Culture Rolando Wilson announced Friday.
This year the official ceremony will take place in Windwardside, under the slogan “A Celebration of Sabans’ Resilience, Culture and Heritage,” on Friday, December 7.
The committee members for Saba Day 2018 are President Shaigan Marten, Secretary Desiree Ann Marie Johnson, Treasurer Raymond Huismans and members Amelia Alexa Alexandria Hassell, Christobel Hassell, Glenn Holm, Nicole Johnson and Randall Johnson.
Commissioner Johnson said he would like to “encourage everyone to come out and celebrate our national day together for Saba Day 2018.”
