MARIGOT--A twenty-year- old St. Martiner with no criminal record was found carrying a 9millimetre Glock pistol with a magazine and a bullet in the chamber, hidden under the seat of a 125cc scooter, during a routine Gendarmerie roadside control in Grand Case on March 26.
The scooter had no licence plate. Moreover, the young man had no vehicle insurance and no driving licence. A small amount of cannabis herb was also found on him. He was placed in custody and will appear in court Friday morning in the annex of Palais de Justice.
