Following the success of Velo Club de Grand Case’s (VCG) youth team in the Cadet Tour of Guadeloupe recently, a team has been assembled to compete in the 10th Caribbean Junior Cycling Championships on August 7-9 in the Dominican Republic.
The selection comprises Kimani Weinum (third left), Adélio Brooks (second right) and Alban Clerc (right), all from VCG, with the addition of Wilfred Chittick from the newly formed Cyclone Club from the Dutch side (not in photo). Going with the team is Coach Edward Benitez
The three VCG riders above with the addition of William Bolo (left) and Jacques Dieu Noé (second left) performed exceptionally well in the Cadet Tour of Guadeloupe. For Brooks it was his first tour. VCG board members are in the photo with Cycling Committee President Rémi Daniel.
