PHILIPSBURG--The annual St. Maarten Futsal competiton is scheduled to continue with match day three at L.B. Scott Sports Auditorium Sunday stating at 3:00pm. First up will be Ghetto Boys against Presidente. At 4:00pm Flames face Risc Takers and at 5:00pm C & D Connection meets NAGICO Fun Makers. At 6:00pm Caribbean Auto will go up against Strikers FC and in the late game slated to kick off at 7:00pm AK7 will take on Presidente Light.
Last Sunday there were three matches. Fun Makers clobbered AK7 9-1. This year Fun Makers reinforced their squad adding players from the 2014 championship team Paradise Inn. Paradise Inn did not register for the 2015 competition
In Game Two Emile Photo fell behind 2-1 in the first half against Caribbean Auto. Photo flashed in the second to win 6-3.
In the third and final game of the day, Striker FC squeezed past Presidente in a thriller 5 – 4.
The veteran competition will kick off on September 6.
