POND ISLAND--St. Maarten Little League Association is gearing up for the start of the annual Primary and Secondary Schools Youth baseball Tournament. Teams are forming and practice has begun at the Little League Stadium on Pond Island.
Teams will consist of 16 players. Primary School teams will be limited to school students age 8 to 13.
Athletes, boys and girl’s, can sign up at their school office or with a parent at the Little League Ballpark Monday to Friday from 3:00 to 6:00pm or Saturday mornings.
Peewees, boys and girls age four to 10 train Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00am.
