Bodybuilder Maudienne Profas is headed to Bermuda to represent St. Maarten at the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Grand Prix Pro Qualifier set to take place on March 26. Profas was seen off by family, the Minister of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports and members of the sports department Tuesday. Profas was introduced to the sport in 1998 and has competed in local, regional and international competitions. Profas has represented St. Maarten in multiple Central American championships. Earned a pro-card in Aruba of 2018 during the Giovanni Ardendsz Classic. She has done well in her last three shows placing third at the 2019 World Championships in Tarragon, Spain, first in the Pro Elite Diamond Cup on St. Maarten and third at the Amateur Olympia in Florida in 2021.
