Second sports information day at Omni Sports Hall, Galis Bay

MARIGOT—The public is reminded that the second sports information day organised by the Collectivité and Service Jeunesse is being held at the Omni Sports Hall in Galis Bay today Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

It follows last week’s information day in French Quarter.
Organisers are hoping for a good turnout from the public. The objective is to create awareness of the many sports available on the island, to encourage participation for health and well being. Many sports will be represented by various clubs and associations, such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, karate, windsurfing/kite surfing, kayaking, Tae Kwon Do, tennis, rugby, swimming, athletics, fencing, archery, hiking, and more.
The event is an ideal opportunity for parents to sign up their children for a sport. During the day there will be entertainment and demonstrations held at regular intervals.
