Prime Minister Leona Marlin-Romeo received the “Woman of The Year” Award and the “World Civility Day Statesman Award” after her swearing-in for a second tenure at the helm of the country on Monday. The recognitions were conferred on her by iChange Nations (iCN), an organisation focused on “Bringing Back The Lost Art of Honour.”
The Woman of The Year plaque was presented to Romeo-Marlin by World Civility Ambassador St. Maartener Dr. Jamal Cummins and the statesman award by Dr. Vernet A. Joseph from the United States. iCN’s founder and President is Dr. Clyde Rivers. He is also the Honorary Ambassador at Large of the Republic of Burundi.
