Construction worker robbed at gunpoint

 

PHILIPSBURG--Police Special Robbery Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Billy Folly Road at 4:15pm Monday. A construction worker was robbed by two men.

According to police, the victim was walking from work when he was approached by two young men riding a scooter. One of the robbers pulled a gun and threatened to use it if the victim did not hand over his wallet. Fearing for his life, the victim handed over his wallet containing some cash and other personal documents.

After committing this act both robbers fled the scene on the scooter. Detectives are asking anyone who has information in connection with this investigation to get in contact with them by calling 542-2222 ext. 213/214 or dial 911.
