PHILIPSBURG--Minister of Tourism Stuart Johnson reminded residents on Wednesday about the raffle hosted by government next week Friday.
“Fifty lucky winners will receive a season pass for Carnival 2019 as we recognize 50 years of Carnival. The Golden Box can be found at the Government Administration Building until then where persons are able to fill out the form for the opportunity to win one of the 50 season passes. Each candidate is allowed one form and one chance to win. Winners must be present on the draw date to collect their passes,” said Johnson.
Persons can take selfies with the Golden Box and share on the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) and ST. Maarten Tourist Bureau social media pages with the hashtag SXMCarnival50 (#sxmcarnival50) for a chance to win additional prizes.
Entertainers on November 30 will be King Rumer, King Kembe, Kenyo Baly, King James and King Verse. Also headlining the show will be DJ Blaze and DJ Richy D with hosts Dutty Sham and Sponge. The event will take place at the Festival Village from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
