Parliament to deal with airport, port, calibrations dept. today

 

PHILIPSBURG--Parliament will seek an update on the statue of Princess Juliana International Airport and Port St. Maarten today, Monday, when Tourism and Economic Affairs Minister Stuart Johnson attends a plenary sitting in Parliament House starting at 10:00am.

The sitting will also deal with the update on the establishment of a calibrations department for the country.

National Alliance (NA) Members of Parliament Ardwell Irion, Egbert Doran and Christophe Emmanuel requested the urgent public sitting.

The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, SXM GOV Radio 107.9 FM, Pearl Radio 98.1 FM,
