PHILIPSBURG--Roy Jones Jr. will step in the ring against Danny Santiago at Festival Village August 29 in a fight dubbed Miami 2 St. Maarten.
AK Entertainment alongside local promoter Milton Ottley of B.O.S.E. Promotions have come together for an extraordinary night of boxing. Legendary Roy Jones Jr. takes on the Bronx Bomber Danny Santiago. This long awaited boxing match also comes with a week of events including a VIP welcome dinner, museum tour displaying Jones Jr. legacy and Santiago destination tour, pre-fight celebration that will feature DJ Outkast, and the weigh in which is open to the public. AK Entertainment has also teamed up with Riddimbox Entertainment to bring to St. Maarten an after party concert.
The boxers will also visit selected schools on the island. Both fighters are strong advocates of education and want to express to the children of St. Maarten and the world the importance of education.
