The first boats have finished the Around the Island race of the 36th edition of the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta. Phfedo3 set the course record last year at 1 hour 30 minutes. This year the trimaran finished in 1 hour 19 minutes 59 seconds. In the past the race course included a short up- wind start. This year the course was a straight downwind run wind start, this the improved time establishes the record for the slightly shorter course.
