MARIGOT--From Saturday, May 22, to Tuesday, May 25, on the grounds of the Sandy Ground Stadium took place the 12th edition of the ZE MAX junior tennis tournament in honour of Maxime Béchu.
More than 60 participants between 6 and 14 years old from the St. Barths and St. Martin clubs gave very good performances on the courts. The following are the results:
Red category: Leo Haouzi (SBTC) beats Arthur Crocq (SBTC), Orange category girls:
Lily Vieira Vandenhove (SBTC)) defeats Victoire Rebut (SBTC), Orange category boys:
Yanush Lapshin (SBTC) defeated Themis Juilliard (TCISM), category green girls: Paulyanna Foreau (ASCCO) defeated Louna Graux (SBTC).
Category green boys: Sandro Chanseau (SBTC) defeated Tymeo Tovo (SBTC),
Category 13-14 girls: Taina Gastaldi (SBTC) defeats Othelia Gulheneuc (SBTC),
Category 11-12 boys: Timeo Foreau (ASCCO) defeats Taine Miller (SBTC),
Category 13-14 boy: Matheis Febrissy (ASCCO) beats Timeo Foreau (ASCCO).
This tournament was created by Olivier Béchu in memory of his son Maxime, who left too early at the age of 17. It was also an opportunity to honour Olivier who passed away last year.
