PHILIPSBURG--Registration now open for the St. Maarten Road Runners 37th annual St. Maarten's Day Around the Island Relay Race.
Teams consist of 11 persons with each member running one leg of the relay that vary from 2.5 and 4 kilometers. The St. Maarten's Day Around The Island Relay Race 2024, scheduled for November 11, is expected to draw participants from across the region, catering to all ages and skill levels. Ten percent of all registration fees will be donated to Lab Sports Academy, a local organization dedicated to promoting sportsmanship, fitness, and personal development among youth in our community.
Lab Sports Academy offers a range of programs designed to nurture athletic talent and foster life skills through sports. The funds raised will help the academy continue to provide high-quality coaching, training facilities, and opportunities for young athletes to excel.
