ST. EUSTATIUS – Game 1 of the St. Eustatius Volleyball Association (SEVA) final was served up at the Earl N. Merkman Sports Auditorium on Saturday.
In the female division the Phoenix took on the Intense Divas. The Phoenix team came out to defend their 2019 title.
Both teams played hard, but ultimately the Phoenix won in straight sets 3-0. The win gave the Phoenix a 1-0 series lead in the best of 5 series.
Progressive went into battle against No fear in the male division. Progressive won the game in 4 sets. Progressive the best of 5 series 1-0.
Game 2 of the finals will take place, today. Phoenix play Intense Divas in the first game and Progressive face No Fear in the second game.
